At EEJ Health, every referral is considered individually to ensure that we can safely and appropriately meet the needs of the child or young person.
We welcome placement enquiries from local authorities, social workers and commissioning teams for our children’s home in Greenwich, Kidbrooke London, which accommodates up to three children and young people.
Our priority is not simply to fill a vacancy, but to achieve a safe, appropriate and sustainable placement.
Contact us with information about the young person, their needs and the placement being sought.
We review relevant care, risk, safeguarding, health and education information to consider:
Where a placement is considered suitable, we work with the placing authority and other professionals to plan the child’s admission and agree the support required.
A vacancy does not automatically mean that a placement will be accepted.
Good matching is important for both the child being referred and the children already living in the home. We will always be open with placing authorities about whether we believe a placement is appropriate.
We work collaboratively with children, social workers, local authorities, families, education providers, health professionals and other agencies involved in the child’s care.
Clear communication and coordinated planning help us provide consistent care and support positive outcomes.
If you would like to discuss whether our Greenwich home may be suitable for a child or young person, please contact our referrals team.
We are happy to have an initial conversation before a full referral is submitted.
